Typolympics is a freely constructed font inspired by the famous logo of the XIV Winter Olympic Games in Sarajevo from 1984. The original logo, designed by Miroslav Antonić Roko, was constructed using a precisely defined grid of diagonal, vertical, and horizontal lines. By multiplying this same grid, an infinitely large playground directed in all directions is created. Horizontal, vertical, square, every side is possible. Following the same principle, I began to fill in the fields between the drawn lines, creating new shapes. Typolympics was created as part of my master's program at the Academy of Fine Arts in 2024.
It was presented at the anniversary ceremony marking 40 years since the Winter Olympic Games in Sarajevo. The project was realized with the support of UNESCO BIH, the Sarajevo Olympic Museum, and Margo Printing House.
