The polyester curtain, a somewhat kitschy and outdated way to cover windows, is very popular in the public housing of Vienna’s 20th district Brigittenau.

Inspired by it, I decided to cover the window with my contribution for the exhibition space 1zwei3 that invited me to the current group exhibition WOOOOORD! Rather than using an actual curtain, I painted a poem written in the custom floral font Gardine 3000 directly onto the glass. Cover image by Moritz Zangl
